Cireng Becomes Frozen Food, MSMEs in Tangsel Earn Millions in Turnover a Month

The COVID-19 pandemic requires business actors to adapt to changes in people's lifestyles, especially consumption patterns and purchasing methods. This is also a concern for a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actor named Santi. Santi produces traditional snacks, cireng or fried aci. The business, which is located in Pondok Cabe, Pamulang, South Tangerang, also produces other foods. Established in 2009 and having experienced a golden period, Cireng production dropped during the COVID-19 pandemic, due to restrictions on community activities. Innovating by making processed sago flour into frozen food and entering the market through the digital world, this is Santi's effort to once again boost sales during the outbreak.
